BOTTOM: Bottom flat: Almost flat (Böse, 1910)

Amb width: Relatively wide; about the same width, only the unpaired amb is slightly narrower (Böse, 1910)

PORE PAIRS: Arrangement: Unigeminal; pores small and very numerous on upper face and ambitus. In central region of lower face, they turn aside from a straight line forming 9 oblique lines (triads), each consisting of 3 pairs of pores (Böse, 1910).
TUBERCLES: Primary tubercles: Numerous small tubercles; arranged in oblique series (bowing from sides towards center). Tubercles of top face are less strong/prominent than those of low face (Böse, 1910).

ETYMOLOGY: Named in honor of William Bullock Clark (1860–1917), a prominent American echinoderm specialist (Böse, 1910).
REMARKS & COMPARISONS
Remarks: Böse (1910) noted this species was apparently cited by Stanton and Vaughan as Pyrina parryi, but differs by its oval contour, non-domed ambitus, and high number of tubercles. C. W. Cooke (1946) considered Globator clarki a synonym of Globator parryi (Hall) (listed as pyrina in text).
Comparisons: Differs from Globator parryi by the oval contour and different position of the periproct (Böse, 1910).
