An ovate Globator with large tubercles and very large periproct. Half of the periproct can be seen from the top .

DESCRIPTION
TOP: Length, width, height: 21.4 mm L × 19.2 mm W × 11.9 mm H (Holotype); Range 19.6 mm to 28.3 mm L
Top shape: Ovate; slight point anteriorly, slightly flattened posteriorly
SIDE: Ambitus: At midpoint (from end)
Side shape: Ovate but more box shaped; vertical at periproct; inflated
AMB: Amb shape: Straight, lanceolate; widest at ambitus, pointed at apical disc, narrow at peristome
INTERAMB: Interamb width: Almost 3 times wider than ambulacra
PORE PAIRS: Arrangement: Uniserial; become offset adorally, more differentiated near peristome
TUBERCLES: Primary tubercles: Numerous large tubercles; evenly cover entire test
Primary Areola shape: Sunken
APICAL SYSTEM: Type: Tetrabasal
Genital pores: 4 gonopores
Madreporite: Very large
PERIPROCT (ANUS): Shape & Size: Large (5.1 mm tall x 3.9 mm wide); transversely ovate, just slightly pointed on top. Height is 43% of the height of fossil
Location: Supramarginal/Marginal; cuts the margin
Visibility: Half of the periproct can be seen from the top
PERISTOME (MOUTH): Size: Small (3.9 mm wide x 5.1 mm tall)
Shape: Oval, oblique, pointed anteriorly
Sunken: Depressed
SPECIMENS STUDIED & CONDITION: Less than ten found. Holotype NPL 79029.
ETYMOLOGY: Named after the author's son Simon S. Kendrick.
REMARKS & COMPARISONS
Remarks: The tubercles of Globator simoni are larger than all other Globator species from Texas.
Comparisons: The periproct is proportionally larger than any other Texas Globator species and cuts the margin significantly (half visible from top). In contrast, the periproct in Globator whitneyi, Globator vaughani, and Globator parryi barely cuts the margin and cannot be seen from the top .
